     Strong Young Movers handles one bedroom and studio apartments, single bedroom homes, offices, and deliveries. If you’ve purchased a large item or several small items from a furniture store like Ikea, we can pick them up from the store and deliver them to your place for a low price.

Strong Young Movers introduces One Price Moving! Now You can calculate your total cost in advance! You no longer have to worry about your bill skyrocketing as minutes tick by. Other moving companies make more money if they send slow movers, or the truck gets stuck in traffic. How many times has that three hour move dragged on into four, then six? We don't think that's fair. You wouldn't go to a restaurant if they wouldn't tell you the price before you ate. You wouldn't go to the movies if they didn't tell you the ticket price until after the show. Why move that way?

This price includes moving your furniture and up to 30 boxes. We'll take it up to 10 miles, with a stair count of 42 or fewer. Moving further, on weekend, climbing higher, or have more stuff? No problem, see below for your up front price.

These prices are for moving normal apartments with normal household goods. If you have something unusual please let us know in advance. Examples of unusual locations are those which require furniture to be moved through windows, over balconies, or are more than 80 feet from where the truck parks to the closest doorway. Examples of unusual goods are things that are really big, heavy, fragile, or if you have some kind of collection and have multiple display cases, or bookcases, or storage shelves. If you have something like this, or some other consideration, just tell us what you have and we'll still give you an up front price.

We've tried to make the information here complete and accurate, but even we make the occasional mistake, so we specifically disclaim typographical errors and omissions. Also, prices are subject to change at any time. However, should this happen, we will tell you at the time you book your job.

Truck Loading or Unloading

The Strong Young Movers can load or unload your rented truck. We currently charge
$95 per hour for three movers, with a two hour minimum.

Storage bins, bags, backpacks, suitcases, and anything else that isn't a normal household furnishing counts as a box. Fragile household furnishings like pictures, artwork, and electronics should be in boxes for their own protection. Feel free to use larger boxes to bring the numbers down, but try to keep them under 50 pounds each.

Do you want to kick back and let us do it all? The Strong Young Movers can pack your belongings and get them ready for your move. We provide two packers for $59 per hour (2 hour minimum). The price of the boxes is additional, or feel free to provide your own boxes.

This price includes moving your furniture and up to 25 boxes. We'll take it up to 10 miles, with a stair count of 42 or fewer. Moving further, on a weekend, climbing higher, or have more stuff? No problem, see below for your up front price.

The prices above are for moves with a single origination and a single destination. If you have additional stops it's no problem, just see below.

These prices include movers, a truck, equipment, and insurance.

The question we're asked most often- Do you move in San Francisco? Yes, and
at no extra charge.

Move additional boxes? Add $3 each.

More than 10 miles? Add $5 per mile.

Weekend or Holiday move? Add $60.

Add a storage unit to an apartment move (5x8 or smaller storage unit at the apartment)- $67

Add an additional stop (to pick up or drop off no more than 2 pieces of furniture and 5 boxes)- $45 per stop.

More than 42 total stairs? Add $5 per stair.

Any other unusual considerations? Just call.

If you'd like your furniture shrinkwrapped, we can do it for $15 per piece.

We can box mirrors, pictures, and glass tabletops up to 3' largest dimension-$15 per piece, up to 5' maximum dimension-$25 per piece.
